The Story
The Redmi K30 (also known as the 4G version) is a mid-range smartphone released by Xiaomi in December 2019. It introduced several premium features to the affordable Redmi lineup, most notably a 120Hz high-refresh-rate display (a first for Redmi at the time) and a pill-shaped dual selfie camera cutout. It's essentially an upgraded version of the Redmi Note series with better specs, and a rebranded variant was sold globally as the POCO X2.
There is also a closely related Redmi K30 5G model with a faster processor and 5G support — many people refer to the series simply as "Redmi K30." The standard K30 is 4G-only.
